World of Good is part of eBay's Global Citizenship group. Collaborating with World of Good, Inc., the two companies created a community where individuals can create positive change through commerce as part of a global community. Additionally, the World of Good e-commerce site now resides on eBay.
the challenge
SolutionSet was asked to provide a visual direction for the new World of Good community as well as the ecommerce site built within the eBay platform. There were no prior brand or visual style guides associated with the World of Good project. Another criterion for the project was ensuring the new designs were appropriately applied to the Jive Clearspace community platform.
the solution
SolutionSet provided the initial creative direction for the community site, which established a solid visual language that was ultimately extended to the rest of the website, including the marketplace. In addition to the website, the creative direction SolutionSet provided has resulted in several new initiatives for both creative and marketing efforts within World of Good, such as the eBay To Go Widget, eBay Live collateral, and SEM campaign landing pages.
