Title: XSLT / CSS Developer
Department: Technical Services
Reports to: Technical Services
Overall Purpose:
Our team is looking for an experienced and innovative XSLT/CSS developer. "Experienced" means you know what you are doing and can show us proof of your work. As long as you can do this, it does not matter whether you have been in the workforce for two years or twenty. "Innovative" means that concepts like AJAX and sIFR are not foreign to you. We appreciate individuals who experiment with new technologies on personal projects.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
Project responsibilities include:
- XSLT template creation
- Using CSS to display simple XHTML in creative ways
- Producing XHTML/CSS code that is compatible with all major browsers
- XML authoring / editing
- Working with PHP to modify XML
- Testing
- Working with visual designers and other developers to design complex user interfaces and data interactions
Qualifications:
This position requires that you have expert understanding and experience with:
- XSLT 1.0
- CSS
- XML
- (x)HTML
- Photoshop
- Javascript
- PHP a plus
Extras:
You'll impress us even more if:
- you have Flash experience (especially Action Scripting)
- you possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- you have experience working at a consulting company
- you have worked with the Prototype or Scriptaculous JS libraries
- you know common CSS pitfalls and cross-browser fixes
