Title: Senior Developer (Flash)
Department: Creative Services
Reports to: Creative Director
Overall Purpose:
SolutionSet is looking for a web development expert with experience in interactive development using Flash, JavaScript, DHTML, and streaming video. You must be an expert in everything Flash and have a deep understanding of animation, particle systems, game programming, user interface and integration with a server back-end. You must have a proven ability to accommodate bandwidth and performance concerns while delivering rich experiences to a broad online audience. You must be able to write HTML code that validates according to W3C specs (HTML/CSS/ECMAScript) and code that works across the mainstream browser spectrum, especially with DHTML and JavaScript.

- Understand how design and technology can co-operate to create more than a sum of parts
- Collaborate professionally with fuzzy logic devices (people)

Key Areas of Responsibility:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop Flash-powered web applications, animations, and online games
- Participate in creative brainstorms and provide support for design team
- Produce HTML content from graphical mock-ups or from scratch
- Draft site/page diagrams and participate in the review process
- Quality Assurance testing on all work
Qualifications:
The candidate must have proven ability and qualifications in the following areas:
- 3-5 years experience in a web development role
- Senior level Flash developer with 5+ years hands-on experience
- Building web applications using Flash and DHTML/JavaScript
- Online game development
- Strong OO analysis and design
- XML schema design and data transfer
- Excellent communication skills
- BS in computer science or equivalent
