The Challenge

Meru, faced with a very competitive WLAN landscape, needed a new website that leveraged their strong corporate identity, offered greater visual impact, and provided current and potential customers with a seamless path toward obtaining information. Meru also wanted a website that told the story of who they are as a company to inspire greater brand awareness and understanding.

The Solution

In partnership with Meru, SolutionSet mapped out user experience and visual design enhancements to boost Meru’s online presence and then implemented a CrownPeak CMS platform. The result is an eye-catching interface that offers consistent branding throughout and site navigation featuring enhanced super navigation. The new customer spotlight element allows Meru to really highlight their customers and the wide array of solutions they offer. 

SolutionSet and Meru collaborated to select captivating and relevant imagery for the site. We designed all of the iconography found in the super navigation and throughout the website, framing the site with a consistent look and feel throughout. The icons have since been implemented into Meru’s marketing collateral and applications. We developed a style guide, including print guidelines, and designed Meru’s corporate fact sheet to embody the look and feel of the new website. SolutionSet also built Meru’s first consolidated resource library where customers and partners can learn more about the company by filtering through a wealth of assets and then choosing to share or download them.

The Result

The newly design website was launched in February 2012 and stands out from traditional websites in the industry. At a glance, the website communicates Meru’s differentiation and value proposition to their target audience—sending a message that they are an innovator and a credible competitor in the WLAN space.
