Known for its wool outerwear for over 180 years, Woolrich has expanded their lineup to include a wide variety of outerwear styles, sleepwear, bedroom accessories and home goods.
With thousands of skus and fluctuating stock levels, online customers were abandoning their shopping cart at checkout after learning an item was out of stock. Woolrich needed to leverage their existing data and reconnect with online customers through a relevant email strategy.
The Solution
Woolrich partnered with SolutionSet to make their Abandoned Cart process “smart”. Data feeds and advanced business logic were put in place, along with third party integration for sku-specific product recommendations. Email personalization, relevant product images and alternative product suggestions for out-of-stock items were added.
The Result
Woolrich is recognizing incremental revenue from their “smart” Abandoned Cart program by engaging their customers with a higher degree of personalization and cross sell recommendations.
