The Challenge

The SFMOMA ArtThink website needed to link together lesson plans, artists, interactive exhibits, and artworks. It needed to be easy to navigate and search, and yet easy to maintain by a non-technical staff.

The Solution

SolutionSet implemented the design created by Method and built a backend CMS using ASP and MS Access. XSLT was implemented to separate the data from the design, making the information and presentation completely autonomous (which in turn allows for painless redesigns in the future). Finally, SolutionSet wrote the search functions to allow for a searchable online glossary driven by the XML data in the Content Management System.

The Result

The result: a dynamic, easy-to-use and -maintain website.
