The Challenge

When institutions that hold sensitive customer data experience a breach, they are required to inform customers of the breach. Many will soften the blow with an offer for free credit monitoring for one year. The credit monitoring service of choice in these situations is Experian. Our challenge was to develop a strategy for converting customers who accepted the free trial into paying customers once the trial period has ended.

The Solution

We developed a longitudinal renewal contact stream to increase conversions. Customers are contacted at 90, 60, 30, and 7 days prior to their trial expiring, as well as 14 days after expiration.
